ISOF Range 2023 28 - 29 March 2023
OVERVIEW
International Special Operations Forces (ISOF) Lethality Week, 26 March - 1 April 2023, will be conducted at the Nevada Test and Training Range (NTTR) and the Nevada Army National Guard Las Vegas Readiness Center (LVRC) to provide an annual lethality-focused event with forums for interested organizations, relevant agencies, and industry that promotes the collaborative pursuit of future SOF lethality requirements and solutions. The week will execute five lines of effort (LOEs): (1) Programmatic Ranges, (2) ISOF Range, (3) ISOF Working Group, (4) the Soldiers Systems Capability Development Working Group (SSCDWG), and (5) the Joint Services Small Arms Requirement Integration (JSSARI) meeting.
The traditional and main event is still the ISOF Range. The purpose of ISOF Range 2023 is to showcase Special Operations Forces (SOF) selected innovative lethal technologies from U.S. and international private industry, government Research, Development, Testing and Evaluation (RDT&E) facilities, academia, and individuals at the Nevada Test and Training Range (NTTR). This event will provide attendees a unique opportunity to conduct “hands-on” market research of technology that addresses lethality gaps and informs future requirements. This year’s themes are Weapons, Visual Augmentation Systems, Demolitions/Breaching, Ammunition, Shoulder Launched Munitions, Precision Strike Systems, and Other Relevant Disruptive Technologies. To address lethality gaps and inform future requirements, attendees will be asked to provide combat developers and event vendors with feedback on the demonstrated technologies using the BLAST on-site attendee feedback system.
Dress for the range is civilian range clothes (no military uniforms).
